The Countertop Process, From Quote to Install
Every countertop job in Carson City and Northern Nevada follows the same five steps.
1. Quote Request
Send the project location, what you want done, any measurements you have, and photos or plans. Inquiries are generally answered within about one business day.
2. Material and Scope
Excelsior Stone talks through the material and the scope with you and sends a quote. When you confirm by email, the quote becomes your invoice, and a follow-up email lays out the payment schedule and what to expect.
3. Field Measuring and Templating
Your sink, faucet and any slide-in cooktop need to be purchased and on site first. Then the countertops are measured and templated at your home.
4. Fabrication
The slabs are cut and finished in the Carson City shop, including sink and cooktop cutouts, faucet holes and edges.
5. Demo and Installation
If removal is part of the job, the old countertops come out first. Clear the countertops and empty or remove the top drawers before demo. Then the new countertops are installed. A full-height backsplash is templated after the countertops are in and installed on a return visit.

The $4,999 Quartz Kitchen Package
Excelsior Stone offers one fixed-price option for quartz countertop installation in Carson City and the surrounding area: the Quartz Kitchen Package, $4,999 for up to 55 square feet. Kitchens over 55 square feet, other materials and custom work are quoted separately. We handle everything from the quartz fabrication to the install.
